“Shame On You”- Wizkid Responds To Lauretta Onochie’s Attack

Wizkid has called Lauretta Onochie shameless for attacking him over his criticism of President Buhari on Sunday.

Lauretta had called Wizkid ignorant and childish after the Afrobeats superstar took issues with President Buhari’s decision to commiserate with Trump on Sunday.

The Nigerian president had sent a felicitation message to U.S president Donald Trump, who was down with Covid-19. Wizkid, however, took exception to what he saw as a misplacement of priorities by the leader of his country.

This was in the midst of a renewed online campaign to end the operations of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigerian police force. Fresh allegations of extortion and brutality had led to the campaign.

He tweeted “Donald trump is not your business! Old man! Police/Sarz still killing Nigerian youth on a daily!
Do something!
Nothing concern u for America!
Face your country !!”

The president’s aide on new media, the controversial Lauretta Onochie, however went full blast on Wizkid for referring to the president in that manner.

She described his comments as displaying “crass ignorance and insensitivity” and called him dumb.

She tweeted some hours ago:

“Its not disrespectful to call anyone old. Its the way and manner Ayo Balogun addressed the President that leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

He exhibited crass ignorance, insensitivity and childishness. But hey, he’s a #DumbkidNotWhizKid

When he grows up, he might learn respect”

Wizkid, in his reply, shamed the presidential aide for taking the side of the killer policemen.

“lol a 77 year old man is not young ma.. You are a woman and a mother and kids are getting killed by police/sars and this is all you have to say? shame on you!!! shame on you!!

The nationwide protests by Nigerians to end the operations of officers of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigerian Police force has not shown any sign of waning even as it nears it's second week.
